mercoledì 14 Maggio 2025
durata 1h 30'

The city of Milan is proud to welcome Jeff Koons, one of the most influential artists of our time for a special public lecture open to all.

Internationally celebrated for his bold reimaginings of everyday objects and popular iconography, Koons has redefined the boundaries between art and mass culture, sparking admiration and debate around the world. His work invites us to question the nature of beauty, authorship and value in contemporary society.

The event, held at the iconic Teatro Lirico, will feature a short visual presentation by the artist, followed by an in-depth conversation with Farah Nayeri, cultural journalist and author with The New York Times.

Strongly supported by Milan’s Department of Culture, this free and open lecture was conceived as a gift to the city — offering students, citizens and art lovers an exceptional opportunity to hear directly from one of the defining voices in global contemporary art, and to explore how creativity continues to shape our cultural and emotional world.
